Popcorn Pixels
The "Pixel Dancer" is a girl that performs several cool dances to modern music. The dances include the Numa Numa Dance, The Robot Dance, A dance from the Nutcracker, The Saturday Night Fever Dance, Hip Hop Dances, and much more. The story behind the video is the debate whether the girl is a real human or if she is just a computer animated character. To me I think it's computer animated because the colors are too bright and the hands of the girl are as white as her shirt. There is something very special about the "Popcorn Pixels" YouTube video. It's the music. It's the dancing. It's the message about the Human Race. And then there's the question of whether or not the Pixel Dancer is of the human race or is she just the latest CGI offspring of computer animation? Regardless of what you believe, there is something special about Popcorn Pixels.

I can't tell if it's real or if it's computer animation. The girl reminds me of the pixilated graphics of my old Atari 2600 video game system.

She reminds me of Princess Leah for some reason. Maybe it's the white outfit or something. I can't tell it's all pixilated. I love the music and the dancing is awesome!!!

 

About the Subtitles

What is the message behind the subtitles? According to Santa Fe Girl, the message is that of appreciation to YouTube for providing a powerful, flexible, and free medium for creative people around the world to produce video art work. However, the message goes beyond YouTube and extends to human kind on the whole. It's true that YouTube is the driving force behind the medium, but it's bigger than that. It's a global wide medium that most earthly governments allow their citizens to participate. We also have to recognize the Internet backbone and all the related technology that allows these videos to be uploaded and downloaded by the millions. When she talks about the human race, she is thinking in the context of her video being viewed by other intelligent life forms from other planets. When she says "Special Breed", she is referring to humans as being a special breed of intelligent life form.

This Guy Can Robot

 

This guy brings the Robot Dance to a whole new level. He feels the digital bean in his arms and in his chest. This guy is so good that he just might be an actual robot. If so, that gives him a very unfair adantage.

Here is another dance video recently added to YouTube that I found the other day. The girl has got some pretty good dance moves. She is very fast moving. It gets me tired just watching her move at 100 miles per hour.
